Use of Medical Cannabis for the treatment of Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting (CINV)

If you or someone you know has recently been diagnosed with cancer and will begin chemotherapy, we are conducting a clinical research study and are currently looking for volunteers to test the effects of cannabis on the nausea and vomiting that people may experience from chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) affects some cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and has been shown to be an influence on quality of life. The medical use of cannabis for those diagnosed with cancer is now legal in 28 states. This study will include Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada and Washington State. To be enrolled in this study, one needs to either have or obtain a doctor recommendation to use cannabis with a state certified card from one of these states or be 21 years of age or older in Colorado, Nevada and Washington State.
